Wednesday, July 15 Coordinator Training: Tips and Tricks for Virtual Learning

Thanks to all who joined us for today’s session! We had a lot to cover in a short period of time, but we hope that you learned some new nuggets of information that will give you some ideas on how to best move forward for this upcoming school year.

Padlet: Online interactive “bulletin board. Students don’t need an account, free for teachers with limited features.

Mentimeter: Online interactive questions for students to answer in a variety of ways. Students don’t need an account, free for teachers with limited features.

Kahoot: Online quiz game. Easy to incorporate into distance learning. Students don’t need an account, free for teachers with limited features. Online archive of all sorts of quizzes.

Flipgrid: Online video creator for students to submit responses in video format. Students do need an account.

The graphic design app we use is called Canva. The free version has limited access, and there is also a premium version that requires a monthly subscription.
