In the Spring of 2020, Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom began a daily video series of incubating chicken eggs to share the wonder of embryology with students learning from home across the state. This year, many students are back in classrooms and able to participate in their own egg hatching adventures. These videos are an excellent resource to augment a classroom unit or to replace it for those students still learning remotely.
We highly recommend our Poultry Ag Mag to use in conjunction with hatching eggs in the classroom. Free classroom sets can be ordered from your county-level Ag Literacy Coordinator. The interactive digital version can be accessed here.
